After all that she’s gone through,
Her eyes don’t believe the good hearts,
Her soul doesn’t trust,
Her mind doesn’t rest,
She’s shackled in the deafening screams of her conscience,
She wants to break the bars,
After all the phases,
The ones with bliss and with those of betrayals,
Her eyes could no more adjust to the kindness,
Her soul doesn’t trust even when someone deserved to be,
Her mind doesn’t rest even though she’s tired;
She’s shackled in the deafening screams of her own thoughts,
The chains keep clunking whenever she moves out,
Whom to trust,
Whom to not,
Finding herself in the misogyny,
She’s losing her faith, her innocence, herself.
